Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and the second commonest cause of male cancer death. More recently with the widespread use of PSA testing, patients are diagnosed at an earlier and more curable stage and the focus of treatment has shifted from not only optimising the chance of cure but also of avoiding unpleasant side associated both with surgery and radiation.

We are the only truly multi-disciplinary centre in New South Wales offering patients a comprehensive assessment with the full range of treatment options available including, nerve sparing & nerve grafting techniques, brachytherapy, High Intensity Focused Ultraound (HIFU) and cryotherapy.

Our aim is to provide individualised care tailored to the patient’s needs, preferences and the nature of the cancer. Our teams of surgeons and radiation thereapists all have international training and expertise in all approaches to the treatment of prostate cancer.

Many studies have shown that the optimal outcome is achieved in experienced units and we are pleased to be able to offer treatments at several centres of excellence including North Sydney, St George, Miranda, Menai and Illawarra area where our experienced teams will achieve the best possible outcomes.

We believe our approach gives patients an unbiased and realistic assessment of their situation and advice is both comprehensive and individualised to the specific needs of the patient and his family.
